Wisconsin-based singer/songwriter Bill Camplin has been entertaining audiences throughout the mid-western US for more than 30 years. A gifted vocalist, Camplin's ballads have an intellectual scope that rival the best in contemporary American folk music. Camplin's fifth album, Doet (released in 1999), includes performances by virtuoso violinist Randy Sabien and lead guitarist Jason Klagstad. Comparisons? Bob Dylan and Eric Anderson come to mind.
